During Ramadan Month, Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Safety (KPKP) Department intensifies food price monitoring in traditional markets.
Jakarta KPKP Department's Food Safety Department Head, Mujiati conveyed, her side has monitored 40 traditional markets in five Jakarta regions until today.

Food price monitoring is focus on staple commodities such as rice, onion, chili, chicken, meat, egg, sugar, cooking oil, and flour. Later, the result of this monitoring will be used as reference for Jakarta Inflation Controlling Team (TPID).
"We also cooperate with BUMDs in food sector and TPID to hold market operation. Currently, the prices are still relatively stable. Some of them are rising but it is still reasonable and not too significant," she informed.
